How we handle your information

Who we are

Inroads Automation (Pty) Ltd, registration 2026/060529/07. We work from Ballito in KwaZulu-Natal, Bedfordview in Gauteng and Rondebosch in Cape Town. You can reach us on 060 013 1789 or at info@inroads-automation.com.

What we collect

Information you give us, plus basic technical information generated when you use the website. If you fill in the form on our contact page, that is your name, your firm or business, your email address and whatever you tell us about the work your week repeats. If you phone us, message us on WhatsApp or use the chat on this site, our assistant records what was discussed so that we can pick up where we left off instead of asking you the same questions twice. Like any website, ours also records basic technical information such as the pages that were visited.

Why we have it

To answer you. If you become a client, to do the work you have asked us to do. And, only if you ticked the box asking for it, to send you the occasional useful thing.

Ticking that box is optional. Not ticking it does not stop us answering you, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Who else sees it

We never sell or rent your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own use. We only share it where it is needed to provide the service, or where the law requires it.

We do use suppliers to host this website and to carry calls and messages, and those suppliers process your information on our instruction only. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are talking to you or working for you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record of something.

Information belonging to our clients' customers

When we run a business's front office for them, we handle information about their customers on their instruction. In that arrangement they decide what happens to it and we carry it out. We do not use their customers' information for our own purposes, and we do not move it between clients.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email info@inroads-automation.com and a person will deal with it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle information, we will change this page and the date at the top of it.
